Finally, I tried Puretanica‘s Cool Bliss shampoo and conditioner. Many friends of mine from Florida have recommended this brand to me and since I live in Nevada now, I always dismissed it as different climates call for different haircare needs.
Boy, am I glad I finally broke down and gave this line a go! Just the initial washing experience alone is so different and satisfying compared to other brands. Both products contain essential oils that feels invigoratingly cool on your scalp. Think mouthwash for your hair.
Their infused proteins nourish, refresh, and fortify your hair from root to tip. I didn’t have that caked on feeling after use. As always, I only use shampoo on my roots and conditioner on my tips. As I used these, my hair felt like all of the build up from my other shampoos and conditioners were being washed away! Leaving my hair feeling lighter and smoothed.
I had the pleasure of speaking with the founder and CEO, Zach Erwin, about how he came up with this company and these products. His inspiration came from such a simple moment from his childhood, that someone like me has never experienced since it had to do with the snow and I grew up in the south. So the fact that these products allow us to share the same experience no matter where we live is pretty cool to think about.
Living in a desert makes it a bit tricky when it comes to wanting voluminous bouncy hair while also wanting your hair to be smooth, shiny, and tangle free. The Cool Bliss shampoo and conditioner contains natural botanicals and essential oils to gently cleanse your scalp of excess oil while fighting dryness and maintaining moisture. It’s the perfect balance for my needs!
The moisture-rich formula restores thin, dry and damaged hair, while adding moisture and thickness, leaving hair soft, nourished and manageable. Anyone with long or thick hair knows how much of a struggle it really is, especially in a dry climate. I often have to deal with bad tangles, oily scalp, and dry tips. It’s very hard to properly maintain daily.
You’ve probably stood in the store, staring at the shelves, wondering, ”what in the world should I be looking for in a shampoo and conditioner?” It’s a never-ending cycle of new products, specialty products, products that make strong claims, simple products, etc.
Before you go shopping for haircare, you should always consider these few questions first:
- How do you normally style your hair?
- What is the current health condition of your hair?
- Do you need different results fr your shampoo than your conditioner?
These products works for my hair needs specifically but may not work for you. I get many mixed reviews from my followers when I recommend products like this. Always consider if our hair has similarities before using my recommendations.
I love my hair to be BIG, in-fact without teasing, I don’t think I could get it as big as I want. Any product that is thick and heavy will weigh my hair down and wont give me the body I desire. I also style my hair everyday so the heat protectant properties included in the Cool Bliss conditioner are greatly appreciated.
My hair is fairly healthy. I get regular trims and keep dying to a minimum so I don’t have to worry about the chemicals involved too much. Shampoos and conditioners for sensitive scalps won’t work for me. I need heavy duty stuff!
I do sometimes suffer from dry tips and an oily scalp. So I definitely need something different from my shampoo than my conditioner. I can not use moisturizing shampoos or volumizing conditioners.
If you haven’t already, I definitely recommend trying Puretanica’s Cool Bliss Shampoo and Conditioner. Also, scroll down to the bottom of their website and check out their blog for more hair related topics.🌼
